The hotel was well positioned close to bus lines, a main shipping street and with a convenience store right around the corner. The heating was generally ok, although it did not work at all times. They did have a bath tub which seems difficult to find in South Korea. It was very nice how they gave us water and fresh towels daily next to the door because we had the DND sign on.

Jeju is a feast for the eyes!
Jeju is a feast for the eyes! We visited in winter and I thought it would be gloomy but I was wrong. During our visit, it's perfectly wintry cold under the sunny skies. We visited UNESCO designated heritages (We got to hike the snowy Hallasan!), museums, parks, beaches, and a ton of restaurants! The food was great! Personally, I think the food and admission fees to the places we visited are affordable and really worth our money. We enjoyed our stay in Jeju a lot that we wish we could've stayed there longer. We will surely be back!

We were visiting in the winter, it wasn't busy and we could get around without any issues. The only day which was more difficult was new years, understandable.
The taxi's are very affordable, often it was cheaper to get a taxi than travel by bus (party of 3).
We found everywhere to be clean and plenty of restrooms.
The downside is that the travel information is often not up to date. We ended up booking a guide one day, if we hadn't two of the attractions we had planned to go to were closed (this was not posted in English anywhere) but the guide knew. One was the Manjanggul Cave, which will be closed for a year by the sounds of it.
The KakaoMap app is handy to workout how to get about and really good for figuring out the buses. KakaoT for taxis, we tried Uber too but it was very hit and miss.
There are a good variety of attractions for all ages. Generally speaking it didn't feel very accessability friendly.
It is worth hiring a guide for a day, not only does it remove the stress of trying to figure everything out but they can also tell you much more about the place than you will get from a guide book.

Jeju Island is nothing short of amazing and beautiful.
Jeju Island is nothing short of amazing and beautiful. My time there felt like a dream, and the only regret I had was that my visit was too short to explore all that this stunning island has to offer. The experience and the feeling of being surrounded by such natural beauty and unique culture are truly one-of-a-kind.
Every corner of Jeju Island seems to be a picturesque postcard waiting to be captured, from its lush landscapes to the breathtaking coastline. I was left in awe of the island's natural wonders, from the volcanic formations to the pristine beaches.
The local culture and warmth of the people added an extra layer of charm to my trip. The island has a distinct character that is both inviting and captivating.
As I left Jeju Island, I couldn't help but wish for an opportunity to return soon. It's a place that leaves an indelibl mark on your heart, and I can't wait to explore more of its wonders in the future."

The list of great things in Jeju is long.
The list of great things in Jeju is long. JeJu city is cool and worth a day or two. Take the city bus tours - one does the city and the other cruises around the coastal parts of the town. It's a hop on and off situation. Then get across to Seogwipo - inexpensive bus from the airport - and bask in the joy of being in this magical seaside town. Give it a few days. The food is amazing everywhere and in this fishing town the seafood is simply amazing. A rental car is a plus at this point as many of the best places need some transportation - do the National Park and the lava tubes as well as some of the more remote beaches. On an island that has 16 million visitors a year it's hard-to-impossible to get into a truly remote beach but then again it's a chance to enjoy people watching in a beautiful place- Koreans do selfies and groupies better than anyone and they appear to absolutely love it.
We stayed in Jeju 6 nights and treated ourselves on our last night to this wonderful hotel. Checkin and parking was easy. We were amazed from the moment we stepped into the lobby with the beautiful entrance and fireplace but were completely blown away by the pool and our room. The pool was beyond anything that we expected! The room and bathroom were so fancy and comfortable. Unfortunately, it did rain and we didn't get to explore as much as we should have. We ordered Eco Fried Chicken and ate in our room - YUM!
The staff/ owner is very kind and helpful. The room was clean and had all the essentials i.e. water dispenser (at lobby area), water heater, iron and dining table to eat. The room is facing the beach and had a very nice view. The location is very strategic, only 10 min drive to Jeju airport and a lot of convenient shop and seafood restaurants near the hotel area. There is a lot parking space. Recommended for all
It's located at a good place near Yeondong. It's very convenient to walk to Yeondong for shopping.
When taking a trip to Jeju, driving a car would be a good choice. And luckily LOTTE City Hotel Jeju has its own parking lot at the basement. And I think the parking area is enough to use.
We were very thankful for the receptionists' services. They provided services so quickly and were very friendly.
Location is great! Direct buses go anywhere in this island. I stay here for next day hike to Hallasan, take bus less than 30 mins (bus station just 100 meters in think..)
Convenient stores and one of my favorite restaurant are nearby.
Vincent, he is very nice, take time to talk to me, and his English is good. He also give me some good advice.
Room is clean and comfortable. Would stay again.
Excellent value for money
Friendly staff, shower products, hot shower, fresh clean sheets, plenty of room and Netflix!!
The manager was so nice, he was so helpful with tips for my visit Jeju, I recommend this hotel because it is the perfect location to explore the rest of the island, as it is very close to the bus terminal. At the end of our stay they gave us a postcard, really sweet.
The hotel is old but well maintained. The room was very clean and everything was working. Additionally I'd like to highlight the wifi that was secured. Many hotels use open wifo that is threat for your security. The location is great too. 2 mins wakling to the market and 10 to the sea (not beach). Considering the price that was the cheapest in the area I think the value is perfect
Room and bath very spacious. Had a third-floor room (no elevator) with sea view and backside of shops along beach front.
Staff spoke just enough English to check me in/out. Two convenience stores next to hotel. Bus stop across the street to Jeju City. Five-minute walk to beach, coffee shops and a few restaurants. ₩6,500 taxi ride from airport one way. Free coffee in office area.
Liked the car parking service provided, just drive into the hotel porch and the staff will help you park your car in their car park lift thingy.
Staff were friendly and helpful.
Free sandwich in the morning.
Convenient location from the airport, but far from places of interest since the hotel is at the North part of jeju.
We picked this hotel for its location close to the airport. Arrived late afternoon. Too a very easy and short transport with the bus to this hotel. Next day we went the opposite direction to pick up the rental car.
Because the hotel was perfect, we booked it again at the end of our vacation on Jeju Island.
The hotel is located in the Jeju-si downtown. There are many coffeeshops around. The food places around are mostly local food. Close to the Airport, about 10-15 minutes by car, depends of traffic.
In the hotel lobby there is a convenient store to buy all necessary things like snacks, toiletries, etc.
A large, modern, efficient hotel on the ocean front close to downtown and the airport. Huge breakfast, walking distance to many downtown attractions and services. We stayed one night on our way home from a week in Jeju. It worked well for us; but I wouldn't want to stay here for more than one night.
First review I’ve ever left on booking.com because this place was amazing! Great value for money, modern and spacious rooms, and the owner is super friendly. I loved the location, it’s surrounded by loads of good quality cafes and restaurants. Really nice for a quiet getaway
- it was clean, but it could have been cleaner. maybe this is Jeju Island issue, because we’ve stayed at 3 hotels (the other 2 were 4 stars) and none of them was perfectly clean
- close to the restaurants and to the shopping street
- friendly staff
The hotel is close to the Jeju airport (walking distance), and the price is cheap. Inside the hotel, the roo, is very clean room. Overall, I recommand this hotel to everone who want to visit at the north and east part of Jeju island.
This hotel is 20 min bus ride from the airport. The bus stop is right in front of the hotel. The room is huge and clean and the price was reasonable. Definitely recommend it.
Superb room, amazing view and nature nearby. Perfect location if you are exploring the island with a car and would like to avoid the traffic going in and out the city.
The staff is really nice and the room is comfortable. If you want a place to drop your bags, explore Jeju and get a good night of sleep, this is a good hotel to get.
