Everything was great. We got better rooms than we had booked. The people working at the reception are very nice. I really wanted to stay at this hotel again.

View amazing. As we were celebrating we were given a room with a lovely terrace, however all of the rooms had fantastic views and balconies. The location was exceptional - very close to the beach and the lovely square in Nerja. Staff especially Victor were really helpful with our taxi booking for our trip to Caminito Del Rey. Breakfast had a great choice also and pool was perfect.

Restuarant was superb. Both qualty of food and service. Far better than the Parador we stayed in for two nights before.

The staff, the cleanliness of the rooms, location to the town centre and bus station
I stay in many large big name hotels but I would definitely stay at the Bajamar again as it felt more "local" and the cafe which was joined to the hotel was great in the mornings for coffee, juice, pastries and toasties.
Featuring direct access to Burriana Beach, Hotel Paraíso Del Mar is located in Nerja. This restored villa offers rooms with a hydromassage bath and a flat-screen TV with satellite channels.

The view from the terrace was exceptional. Nothing better than having breakfast with birds chirping and a beautiful view at the sea. The breakfast buffet had a lot to offer. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

With whitewashed houses perched on rocky cliffs backed by the Sierra de Burno mountains, Nerja certainly has a picturesque setting. Other than from a boat, the best place to admire it is the so-called Balcony of Europe, a viewing platform overlooking the rugged coastline and turquoise waters.
Below the platform is a panoramic restaurant, and there are more restaurants and shops in the narrow town centre streets, as you would expect of a Costa del Sol resort. However, Nerja’s distinct character differentiates it from the high-rise resorts. Its relaxed feel and Blue Flag beaches attract families, and there are good diving spots off neighbouring Maro.
The town is spread over hills, and below one just outside town the Nerja Caves stretch for over 5 km. Concerts are held in one cavernous chamber.
A 19th-century, multi-level aqueduct spans a gorge to the east, while to the west the Rio Chillar cuts through rocks to form a waterfall. The nearby donkey sanctuary also houses the occasional other farmyard animal. Dating back to the 17th century is the Hermitage of Las Angustias, and El Salvador Church is on a square looking out to sea.
Booking.com’s Nerja accommodation includes luxury beach hotels, guest houses with pools, and cheap apartments with parking – particularly handy if you arrive by car from Málaga Airport.
Loved it. Full of history and culture and the main town was buzzing. Local beaches with small coves were stunningly beautiful with backdrop of the mountains. There’s a lot to see and explore - cuisine excellent

very beautiful place more than I expected,
food and drink are cheap, we were spoiled for choice, streets are spotless clean, people are very friendly we only stayed for 4days,
I didn't think there was much for kids, unless you want to travel outside the town, I would say it would be more suited to couples or mature people,

The views from the Balcon de Nerja were lovely, and the town, though obviously now very much a tourist spot, has an interesting history which you can discover by visiting the excellent local museum. Although I didn't explore them, the beaches looked very inviting. But the visit to the Cuevas de Nerja was the highlight of my stay - they are breathtaking! I have visited a number of caves, but Nerja's are like a cathedral compared to a parish church, and the prehistoric finds discovered there can be seen in the museum (the ticket for the "train" to the caves is not cheap, but includes entry to the museum, though I had to ask for a retired person's discount (2 euros) even though I have white hair.)

Nerja for us is a great stop after touring some of the larger cities and spending lots of time visiting historical and cultural sights. Nerja is meant for relaxing, hitting the beach, and eating a variety of food. Compared to other "resort" type towns along the coast, parts of the town retain a local feel, with a tourist district near the shore. Visitors are pretty diverse, but tend to skew middle age to older, no real party or club scene in Nerja, which is great for some, not for others. Usual array of restaurants, from traditional Spanish meat and seafood places, to pretty top rate Italian places, and reputable Indian/South Asian places, and a variety of others.

Beautiful town with all the restaurants, cafes and bar’s you could need. Good transport links which allows access to other areas of interest. Frigilliana was a 20 minute bus trip away, which only cost €1.20 each way, which I would highly recommend.

Nerja was a good place to start our stay in Costa del Sol.
Nerja was a good place to start our stay in Costa del Sol. We visited the old city and it was very nice. The highlights of the stay were the Nerja caves and a trip to Frigiliana. Use the public parkings as street parking is very limited.
Amazing view from the terrace of the surrounding area, the stadium and the Mediterranean Sea. The apartment was comfortable, clean and a plus was that it had 2 full bathrooms. Plenty of cookware and utensils for cooking at home. A nice quiet area of Nerja but very close to 2 supermarkets and Burriana beach. The host was kind and knowledgeable. The setup of getting in to your apartment when you first arrive is easy. Plenty of street parking. And also priced very reasonable. I will go back again and I highly recommend.
the location was ideal only a short walk to the town centre and the beaches, also for the bus to and from malaga the hostal was run by a lovley couple eduardo and sol yes thats sol as in sun , it was a room only basis, but there is a kitchen area with a microwave ,a toaster a kettle a hot plate and a fridge ,i didnt use them myself , as there are plenty of cafes nearby, would i stay there again, yes it was value for money for the four days i spent in nerja
This hotel is only good for its breakfast and location although overpriced. If you want to go to the city centre of Nerja it's right outside of the entrance. If you want to go to the beach you simply take the elevator down. This hotel is good for someone who wants everything as close as possible such as my 70 year old mother. Breakfast is good too.
Lovely hotel, very clean, great location, just a short walk into centre of Nerja. Very good selection of cafés close by. Free car park behind hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff, especially Antonio who was very welcoming and helpful when we arrived for check-in at 1am after a late flight. Very good breakfast with plenty of choice.
Location was a couple of steps from the balcon.
Staff were so helpful and friendly.
Room was serviced every day with fresh towels.
Towels were given for beach and pool too.
Loved everything about this hotel.
I have stayed in another couple of hotels in Nerja but this is the best yet.
The staff are lovely, and the location is fantastic (really recommend Playa Caletilla as the best beach in Nerja). It is very close to the main square but it is not at all noisy. The swimming pool was also fantastic as I find that many hotels are overselling what they have.
This hotel was the best I've stayed in nerja ,staff were very helpful and the location was the best ,it was my partner birthday while we was away and having been out for the day ,we came back to a bottle of fizz in our room with 2 glasses which was very much appreciated
Great location, quiet enough to be away from hustle but close enough to all the action and delights that Nerja offers. Really helpful staff made check in and out easy. Comfy and exceptionally clean room and good value for money. Would stay there again.
Lovely boutique hotel in the centre of Nerja. We booked the room with the outdoor bath that was great - it took ages to fill is the only thing! Nice breakfast & friendly staff too.
Parking available at the rear for €10 hotel rate.
The apartment had everything we needed for a lovely stay. The view to the mountains was great and there were supermarkets and eateries nearby. Nerja centre was about fifteen minutes away on foot. All in all it was an excellent stay.
An absolutely wonderful little eco hostel with very comfortable beds and pillows. We extended our stay by 3 nights as we really enjoyed Nerja and the surrounding countryside! If you can, request room 201, the views are amazing 😊
This is a wonderful hotel in the heart of the old town of Nerja so the location is perfect! the rooms are clean, spacious, tastefully decorated and comfortable beds and pillows. Great staff who are very helpful and attentive.
this is a real gem of a hotel, being in a great location, just a couple of minutes walk from the centre of Nerja. The room was spotless and had everything you would expect if you were staying in a four star luxury hotel.
Beautiful hotel right in the middle of Nerja. Steps from the Balcon de Europa. Quality of service, the room, the amenities are far superior than many 4 star hotels I have stayed at. Exceptional in every way.
Smart, well priced hotel a short walk into centre of Nerja. Jacuzzis & Sun loungers on roof terrace, decent breakfast. A good value stay. Strong eco credentials.
