We got a suite and it was really spacious and the kids have space to play around. The bathroom was spacious too and had a bathtub. That helps when showing the kids!

Good location just minutes from the main area of Oberammergau. Easy access to the main highway (23). Nice views of the mountains. Has everything you need for a visit and very comfortable for the 4 of us. The hosts were very communicative and even put up a Christmas tree for us free of charge.
Not really a negative thing but be aware this is an older building and the ceilings are quite low. I am 185.5CM tall and any taller and I would not be able to stand up in many of the rooms. Two of the bedrooms are in areas with slanted ceilings or lower than 170CM

There is a great variety of things to do in Oberammergau and in the nearby villages and countryside. Although the presence of tourists is obvious, they are not oppressively omnipresent - at least at the end of September, and the area's undoubted beauty appears in no way to have been marred by tourism.

Its a beautiful place having good connectivity to Munich as well as Partenkirchen. Although the bus frequency is adequate during the day time, it ceases by 7:00 or 8:00 PM. So plan your days accordingly if you are using public transport. Rest everything is good.

Our stay was to visit such sights as Zugspitze, Eibsee, and Schloss Neuschwanstein. It was a great location for all of those, Oberammergau is an attraction in itself full of beautiful buildings, history, restaurants (Bavarian and otherwise), shops, and access for hiking/walks. The history of Oberammergau hosting the Passion Play should not be overlooked.
The location was perfect and close to downtown. The room was large with a balcony and a great view. The management and staff were amazing and helpful. I lost my cap on the side of the mountain from Alpine Coaster, Stefani made a call, and I got my cap back. Ina kept the room spotless, and a wonderful Bavarian breakfast is included . It rained a couple of days, and there were umbrellas at the front door to use at no charge. I will always stay here on my trips to Oberammergau.
Amazing stay. Great facilities, location can’t be beat, very friendly and helpful owners, good breakfast spread, spotlessly clean, and so comfortable. There are access to balconies, a beautiful view, a short walk to the main area of Oberammergau, a store right across the street for any last minute needs, steps away from the Bahnhof, and even a guest card for free use of bus.
Location, layout, facilities, view from the windows, access to the village center and all utilities. Spacious, cozy apartment. Hosts are very accessible and responsive via messaging. Well equipped kitchen. Oberammergau is a charming place and offers everything from hikes to sights to shops/eateries etc. Easy drive to Garmisch. Overall we had a lovely stay and will get back.
Everything was very very nice.
The only thing that was a little disturbing, is the fact that the curtains in our room were not blackout ones. So the room was "alighted" by the street lamp and by daylight (early sunrise).
It is not the case for all the rooms.
I recommend the hotel, though. Apart from that, everything was perfect.
Errol and Petra were wonderful hosts - they were so friendly and helpful. We stayed in the junior suite which was a large comfortable rooms with views on two sides to the mountains. The location of the hotel is very good and within close walking distance of the town and the station. Breakfast was very good too
I stayed in hotel with my family. We got a big room on upper floor with large double bed and sofa-bed for two kids. The room was clean and spatious with nice view towards the centre of Oberammergau. Kids enjoyed swimming pool and pancakes for breakfast!
Central Location, Private Parking for guests, Very Bravian in styling. Excellent Breakfast each morning with large choice. Hotel even had restaurant for evening meals
Hotel/Oberammergau is in easy reach of Garmisch and Linderhof Place.
What a charming hotel right in the middle of town. Even though we were in Oberammergau during the "off- season", Michael made our stay perfect. What a beautiful view from Apartment A. A short walk to restaurants and bakery.
The bed and pillow were comfortable, the typical German breakfast was available and had a lot of variety. The eating area where breakfast is served has a beautiful view of the Kofel mountain near Oberammergau.
Everything was exceptional. The hotel staff and restaurant were very friendly and kind. They took very good care of us. Moreover the location of the hotel is breathtaking. Overall highly recommend.
The Family Schauberger was very kind, friendly and helpful. The apartment was well equipped, nicely refurbished and clean. It is located in a very nice and quiet part of Oberammergau.
The room and bathroom were spacious and looked fresh, the surrounding of the town Oberammergau beautiful. Hotel was very comfortably located, breakfast was rich and served nicely!
Cozy apartment was a nice break from the hotels we stayed at. It was nice to “eat in” and have some room to spread out here. Everything we needed was there, even coffee!
Hotel was clean and comfortable; Evening meal was great although couldn't get a drink or food until 7pm. Didn't really eat at breakfast but looked as you would expect.
Cozy place and a very picturesque village. The hotel and the room are the right balance being not "too rustic" yet modern and comfortable. Clean and spacious.
