This is a great motel, quiet, modern spacious and very clean room. Easy parking and close to main street and eateries.
One of them most comfortable beds we have ever slept in! Top quality linens, microwave, toaster and crockery and cutlery, even washing up materials if you wanted to bring a take away back.
There is an amazing cafe, Roses, literally next door with fabulous food and coffee. Open for breakfast and lunch and there are many good dining options nearby for an evening meal.
Goulburn has really changed since we were last here, many years ago. It is now a thriving country town with great shops, cafes and restaurants. We will definitely be back when en route to Canberra or Melbourne

The accom is good for a pub room! Good heating, great location. The bedding isn’t particularly comfy but fine for the price paid. I would def recommend Bringing your own pillow if this is important to you and be warned - it’s noisy AF on a weekend. But it is a pub so you shouldn’t be surprised. Like you’re literally above a dj and drunk people. All in all you get what you pay for and it’s fine.

Goulburn is a lovely place and there are lots of historical features to take in. However, not all significant places are open every day and we only found this out by calling in to the visitors' centre. Most disappointing was a historic house which was noted as open every day but, when we drove out to it, there was a noticed posted there which said they were closed on the day. Stunning! I've never been to Goulburn.
Stunning! I've never been to Goulburn. The architecture and rich history of this town is amazing. We spent most of our Saturday afternoon walking through cobbled lanes and around churches. Bellmore Park is a must see. The food in Goulburn was great, smashed avo at The Harvest Cafe and Chicken Mignon at The Diggers are must try's. Back to the Arcade was fabulous catering for our whole family and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. There's nothing I didn't enjoy about our quick trip to Goulburn. Great drive through country farmland out to Carrawang for a dirt-motorbike racing event, off the main road, place you'd never see unless you had a reason to take that path. Fantastic little Motor Inn with very welcoming owners. While it's a little on the older side, the accommodation was exceptionally well maintained and clean, and fundamentals like water pressure, bathroom, beds, pillows etc were all amazing. A great stay and would certainly stay again!

goulburn is in a perfect location,about 90km from canberra,196km from sydney,190km from bathurst and 153km from the coast.(wollongong).it is steeped in history witrh many victrorian era buildings and a couple of massive very impressive churches or cathedrals,it boasts one of maybe the only remaining fully working steam engine water pumps,old trains from the past era and of course the impressive rocky hill war mwmorial perched over the city like a guard.,.there is alot more to do in goulburn than can be metioned here,the best thing is to check it out yourself,there is plenty of accommodation in town depending on the season of courseRRaymondAustralia - 10Scored 10
We arrived into Goulburn late and it was cold and wet.
We arrived into Goulburn late and it was cold and wet. We went to The Soldiers Club for dinner and all the staff were friendly, meal was nice. Unfortunately we had to leave early next morning so we didn't see a lot.

We walked in not expecting much and were greatly surprised to see such loveliness and space. The staff member that booked us in was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Once we walked into the studio we hired for the night we were surprised again. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. We have stayed in places that cost way more per night and offer way less. Quest, we will be back.

Friendly ambience; beer good. We had breakfast in the cafe opposite - they had the log fire going, which was lovely - coffee and freshly squeezed juice excellent. We had a delicious toastie, but the whole menu looked amazing as did cakes and sandwiches, worth a visit. Thanks all, loved the place and Goulburn was lovely to wander around too.
